Mayor de Blasio is proud that New York City is home for more than 80,000 Filipino New Yorkers who make the city a richer, stronger place.
He likewise recognizes the incredible work and sacrifice of the Filipino health care workers who serve in the front line of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Mayor says New York City may not have survived the Covid-19 pandemic without the Filipino health care workers and expresses his gratitude to the Filipino doctors, nurses and health workers, “Thank you for protecting us.”
